Laredo Power Plant

The Laredo Power Station is located in Webb County, Texas, in the City of Laredo, adjacent to the Rio Grande River.  The plant has approximately 50 acres of land. 

Laredo contains three natural gas-fired steam-generating units. Laredo Units 1, 2 and 3 have RMR capacities of 32 MW, 32 MW and 105 MW, respectively, to deliver to South Texas.  ERCOT is expected to need the plant under annual Reliability Must Run contracts until late 2010.
