The Barney M. Davis Power Station is located in Nueces County, Texas on the south side of the City of Corpus Christi. The plant has approximately 1,992 acres of land between the Laguna Madre and Oso Creek. 

Barney Davis contains two intermediate natural gas-fired steam-generating units. Barney Davis’ two operating units were placed in-service in 1974 (Unit 1 335 MW) and 1976 (Unit 2 347 MW), respectively. The units were designed for base load operation and are presently used in intermediate service under a tolling agreement.
