Topaz Power Group is a Texas-based independent power producer owned by Carlyle/Riverstone Holdings [1]. Originally formed in 2004 with the acquisition of nine power plants in Texas, Topaz focuses on the development, operation, and asset management of power generation assets in Texas and across the U.S. Topaz Power Group currently owns and manages three power plants in Texas and manages a biomass, cogeneration facility in North Carolina.
