Also, the Lead O&M Tech. will assure that the plant meets its generating requirements while operating and maintaining it in a safe and efficient manner. Additional areas of general knowledge and/or expertise may include, depending upon job responsibilities, an aptitude in instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems.
