Under general direction plans proper and safe maintenance of all power plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficient use of resources.  To maintain a working plan for all plant scheduled maintenance outages and to prioritize activities during unscheduled outages.

Provides leadership and direction to the facility’s operation and maintenance technicians. Responsibilities include; but is not limited to: monitoring plant operating performance; overseeing environmental compliance; maintaining all plant equipment including mechanical, electrical, instruments and controls; preparing the necessary operating and outage reports; establishing and administering the O&M budget;  and coordinating all contractor activities.

Utilizing fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures to provide administrative support to all plant personnel with a wide emphasis of clerical and office duties under general direction. Assignments will vary and may be limited in scope to include fairly routine to moderately complex duties. Specific duties may vary by department or the plant assigned.

The Performance Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise to the facility related to the power generation process and optimization to support the operations of the plant in order to improve unit efficiency. 

The Combustion Turbine O&M Technician must demonstrate a thorough understanding and proven knowledge of all production, steam distribution, electrical power systems and their associated equipment; to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety in production of power for the overall plant operations and maintenance. This position requires solid operating decisions based on plant procedures, environmental regulations, safety procedures, and using good judgment based on operating data.

Under general direction facilitates and coordinates plant environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety programs and provides guidance to the plant staff to ensure compliance with the environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety regulatory requirements.  Key competencies of this position are technical expertise, planning and organization ability, problems solving and initiative.

Maintain books and records in accordance with GAAP for one or more legal entities.  Perform monthly activities associated with settlement of monthly power and gas contracts.  Provide support for the annual audit and financial statement preparation.  Support the administration and compliance related to contracts/credit agreements associated with the respective legal entities.
